I’ve been thinking a lot lately especially since my last post about how wisdom often comes with age and I’ve been thinking about the last statement in that post about what a shame it is that that wisdom has to be lost at the end of the person’s life in most cases. What could be done in order to leave a legacy. In order to leave behind some of that wisdom so that future generations might benefit?

I suppose it’s been done for generations, we record it in one fashion or another those things that are important to us . We went we write or when we paint or when we sing and use any medium that could be reflected after our demise. There may be a different mechanism at work that we are not even aware of that will allow us to leave that wisdom with others of succeeding generations through our interactions with those around us. Almost as if it were a virus it is transmitted from one person to the next. That wisdom gets transferred in the same way through exposure to one another.

As we interact on a day-to-day basis, we teach those that are often younger than us about things that we find or have found to be vital to life. And that’s how we pass on what we feel are the most important aspects of our life. Of course it’s mixed in with a lot of other stuff that’s not so important but quite possibly that disguising of the nuggets of wisdom is the genius of the whole method. The gems of wisdom are mixed in everyday life so that they can be absorbed almost undetected by those that we touch in one way or another.

Maybe it’s how the universe lets the wisdom get distilled into the most important parts. That way it doesn’t get lost in all the data, in all the nonsense of life. Hummm, it makes you wonder if something like this could be a work. I am in no way trying to convey the fact that I understand or have knowledge of principles at work that you may not know, but what I am trying to say is that there are most likely principles at work that we don’t even have a clue about.

Things that God or the universe want to take place and have been set up for our own good with no knowledge whatsoever on our part. Just like a parent would set in motion things for a child before that child could even understand the concept at hand. God has placed in motion things that help and assist us in our evolution towards higher understanding and we don’t even know what he has done or how it works.
